1. October La Liga POTM: seven nominees

The LaLiga nominees consist of seven proposed by EA. On October 26, EA Sports revealed the list of all seven nominees who could be the October La Liga POTM, and once again, there is a new Barcelona striker!

We again had several players who proved themselves and performed incredibly. Here are all seven names and the overall rating of their base cards in FIFA 23:

Robert Lewandowski – FC Barcelona

Federico Valverde – Real Madrid

Antoine Griezmann – Atletico Madrid

Sergio Leon – R. Valladolid

Real Madrid's Federico Valverde and Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski are nominated again.

Besides El Clasico, Lewandowski has won his remaining four league games and is Barcelona's best player in October. Only time will tell if his four goals and two assists will earn him POTM in FIFA 23. There is no doubt, however, that he is the Uruguayan's favorite to receive a particular SBC in November.

The Polish striker Robert Lewandowski has already made a huge impact this season. Apart from El Clasico, he has won his remaining four league games and is Barcelona's best player in October.

Federico Valverde once again scored with an excellent shot. He became the first La Liga POTM after the release of FIFA 23, and his special card was offered as part of the SBC. Players can still complete challenges to earn special cards. By the way, the Uruguayan already has four cards in Ultimate Team, including his base version.


2. LaLiga September Winner: Federico Valverde

Real Madrid's Federico Valverde has been impressive this season, performing well in important games such as the El Clasico. 

Since Karim Benzema was injured, he has been scoring goals by himself most of the time. For example, he won four games out of five and contributed with three goals from midfield.

Federico Valverde won La Liga's POTM award for September with a top-rated 86 OVR card.
